Team India's swashbuckling opener Rohit Sharma enjoyed a stellar run in 2019 and has begun the new year in the same flow. Rohit looked in good touch against Australia and Sri Lanka scoring runs at will and stands in line to attain a massive personal record. He is on the verge of becoming the 8th Indian batsmen to score 14000 international runs.

Meanwhile, India opted to test their bench strength in the fourth T20I after pocketing their first-ever series in New Zealand. As a result, they tried wicket-keeper batsman Sanju Samson in place of in-form opener Rohit Sharma. With Samson failing to impress, it is likely that Rohit Sharma will return to action in the fifth and the final tie of the series in Mount Maunganui.
