Ahaan was born on November 15, 2024. To be with his wife, Ritika Sajdeh, during this special moment, Rohit missed the first Test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy against Australia. His decision showcased his commitment to his family alongside his professional career.

During India’s Champions Trophy Group A match against New Zealand on March 2, Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma, wife of Virat Kohli, was seen engaging in a playful interaction with baby Ahaan. The moment, captured on camera, delighted fans and went viral on social media.

Rohit Sharma’s Champion’s Trophy Triumph

After an intense tournament, Rohit led India to victory in the Champions Trophy 2025 final against New Zealand in Dubai on March 9. His outstanding innings of 76 runs off 83 balls played a crucial role in India’s triumph. For his brilliant performance in the final, Rohit was named the Player of the Match. This achievement placed him in an elite list of captains who have won the prestigious award in an ICC final.
