Rohit Sharma was born on April 30, 1987, in Nagpur, Maharashtra, to Purnima Sharma and Gurunath Sharma. Purnima is originally from Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. Rohit also has a younger brother, Vishal Sharma.
Rohit’s parents attended the felicitation ceremony at Wankhede Stadium following India’s victory in the 2024 T20 World Cup. In a heartwarming moment, his mother was seen showering him with kisses.
