SA vs IND: [WATCH] Virat Kohli Signs An RCB Jersey For A Fan On The Second Day Of The Centurion Test

Virat Kohli, the key player for Team India, had a moment with a young fan during day 2 of the Boxing Day Test against South Africa at SuperSport Park in Centurion on December 27th.

Yesterday, Virat Kohli started well with the bat and tried to help India when they were in trouble at 24/3. He teamed up with Shreyas Iyer for a 68-run partnership, putting pressure on the South African bowlers with smart aggression.

He played well, scoring a smooth 38 runs from 64 deliveries, but his time at the crease concluded with a splendid delivery from Kagiso Rabada. KL Rahul (101) then assumed control, guiding the innings alongside lower-order batsmen to lead India to a decent total of 245.

Outside the cricket field, Kohli encountered a young South African child and signed a Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) jersey for him earlier today. Star Sports provided a sneak peek by sharing a video on X.

“He did everything he could till he got that nasty one”- Dinesh Karthik’s thoughts on Virat Kohli’s 38 against South Africa on the first day

Experienced Indian wicketkeeper-batsman Dinesh Karthik recently reviewed Virat Kohli’s batting display on the opening day of the Boxing Day Test against South Africa.

He praised Kohli’s approach on a challenging pitch, mentioning that Kohli executed most aspects correctly but was ultimately dismissed by an exceptional delivery from Rabada.

Dinesh Karthik conveyed this to Cricbuzz:

“Virat Kohli batted really well, weathered the first spell, and when he did come back for his second spell, he did everything he could till he got that nasty one.”

He added:

“It was angled in, pitched, and went out. As a batter, all you can do is just play the line, which is what Kohli did, and it ends up taking your edge. There is not too much you can do.”
