Sunrisers Hyderabad is undefeated till now in the ongoing Indian Premier League. They have a threatening bowling lineup and that makes them unique.
Meanwhile, Shikhar Dhawan, their key batsman has been looking in a fine touch since 2017 ICC Champions Trophy. Known for his epitome of performances in major tournaments, “Gabbar” has never failed to disappoint us for quite some time in all formats of the game.
He played a vital role in scripting all the three wins of Sunrisers Hyderabad and is expected to come out all guns blazing hereafter.
In a recent promotional event, Dhawan revealed his post-retirement plans. The 32-year old Indian opener said that he will take up family business after he calls a day. It is to be noted that Dhawan lives with his wife Ayesha and three kids.
“I would have been into business. Once I finish my cricket I will be into business,” Shikhar Dhawan told reporters during a promotional event.
Though there is a lot of cricket left in him, Dhawan is really clear on what he is going to do after the game. Recently he has been inducted into the A+ contract of BCCI for playing all formats of the game in a given calendar year.
Shikhar Dhawan with his opening partner Wriddhiman Saha is really setting fire on opponents with their initial blitz which is later passed on to Kane Williamson. Though Warner”s presence is missed, Dhawan is making sure to fill his void with his knocks.
Sunrisers Hyderabad will play their next match against Kings XI Punjab at Mohali on April 19.
We wish Dhawan all the best for this IPL and his future endeavours.
