The current crop of Team India players share a very cordial relationship with each other both on and off the field. The cricketers often pull each other's leg on social media sites and most recently, limited-overs star Shreyas Iyer made fun of his skipper Virat Kohli on Instagram. Notably, Kohli is currently leading India in the first Test against New Zealand and his poor form in the land of Kiwis continued as he got out cheaply.
In the age of social media, every cricketer is available on various platforms. The teams also have designated people to look after their social media handles. It helps them to update the fans easily and stay in constant touch with their followers.

Ahead of the toss between India and New Zealand in the first Test at the Basin Reserve in Wellington, BCCI took to Instagram and posted a picture of Virat Kohli with a caption that read, “Let’s put on our thinking caps and caption this? The best one will feature right here. Go.Go.Go”
India batsman Shreyas Iyer was quick to reply and came up with a hilarious caption on BCCI's Instagram post. The cricketer from Mumbai has been active on Instagram and is known for his trendy posts and funny comments among the fans. In the post, Virat Kohli was seen in a blazer and in a somewhat strange dancing position, to which Iyer had a very funny reply.
'Ke ghunghroo toot gaye'," Iyer commented.
Meanwhile, speaking about the first Test, host New Zealand have taken an upper hand on day one of the first Test at the Basin Reserve. While Tim Southee provided the first breakthrough removing Prithvi Shaw after opting to bowl first, debutant Kyle Jamieson then ran down India's batting order to have them at 101 for five. He removed Cheteshwar Pujara and skipper Virat Kohli before returning back to scalp Hanuma Vihari's wicket, who came into this game on the back of century.
After a poor start, Ajinkya Rahane and Rishabh Pant tried to steady the ship for India out and look to play big knocks. They have added 21 runs for the sixth wicket before the players went for tea with the visitors still struggling at 122 for five.
