Indian star batter Shubman Gill posted photos of his vacation in Greece on Instagram on Sunday, August 25, as he took a break from cricket. The Men in Blue opener last played in the ODI series against Sri Lanka, where he had a lacklustre performance with only 57 runs in three matches. This series also saw Sri Lanka secure their first ODI win over India in 27 years.
Gujarat Titans’ skipper was also appointed vice-captain for the T20I and ODI series against Sri Lanka. Earlier this year, he led India to victory over Zimbabwe in a five-match T20I series played by the Men in Blue which ended with a 4-1 score after losing their opening match. The Indian opener will play an important role in the upcoming home season that starts on September 19 with a Test series against Bangladesh.
The Duleep Trophy is another tournament that Shubman Gill will compete in. However, before these matches take place, Punjab’s cricketer has been enjoying his break and he has lately posted photos from his Greece vacation.
In one of these pictures, Shubman can be seen dressed up with a brimmed hat over white shirt paired with dark trousers. The post comes along with this caption:
“Selectively social > Antisocial.”
