As the Indian team prepares to face Sri Lanka in their second group match at Oval, London today, Ravindra Jadeja becomes father of a baby girl. Before the match against arch rivals Pakistan, Jadeja said to his wife Reeva that he would first play the match and then focus on other things.
Ravindra Jadeja bowled well in the first match against Pakistan taking 2 wickets for 43 in 8 overs and also brilliantly run out Shoaib Malik. India won the first match by 124 runs to start their Champions Trophy 2017 campaign on a resounding note. The Men in Blue will look to perform with same intensity in the second group match against Sri Lanka starting in less than hours’ time.
