The 2022/23 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy knockout stage is about to start on Sunday, October 30. The top team from each group progress directly into the quarterfinals stage.
Mumbai progressed into the quarterfinals directly from Group A with 6 wins, Punjab and Delhi with the same number of points but due to a better net run rate Delhi moved into the quarterfinals directly from Group B with 6 wins, Karanakta from Group C with 6 wins, Himachal Pradesh from Group D with four wins and two no-result and Bengal from E with 4 wins, 1 loss, and 1 no-result.
Vidarbha finished second in Group A and move into the Premlinary quarterfinals. Chhattisgarh performed well finishing second below Bengal. They will face Vidarbha in the second preliminary quarter-final to be played on October 30.

Kerala, Saurashtra progressed into the Premlinary stage due to best rankings between sixth and 10th. They will play the third preliminary quarter-final to be played on October 30.
