Team India has begun it’s preparation for the 4th and final Test match against England. Virat Kohli and his men after losing the opening Test found their mojo back and won the next two Tests. Now, team India will be aiming to clinch the series 3-1 and qualify for the ICC world Test championship final which will be played in June.
With the 4th Test beginning in just a couple of Tests the players trained with the utmost intensity in the nets. Virat Kohli, Ajinkya Rahane, Cheteshwar Pujara were all seen fine-tuning their batting against both pace and spin in the nets at Ahmedabad. The batsmen looked keen on defending against fast bowling whereas they weren’t afraid to play their shots against the spinners.
Team India gearing up for the final Test match against England
Rohit Sharma who so far has been the standout batsman in the Test series was seen interactive with Ravi Shastri. The Indian coach was giving Rohit some tips as he nodded his head in approval. After having a hit in the nets, Kohli and Rohit Sharma were also captured in one frame as the duo looked ready for the 4th Test match.
After concluding the batting session it was about fielding drills as the players sweated out at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Also, star of the previous Test match Axar Patel too rolled his arm over in the nets ahead of the Test match. The left-arm spinner snaffled 11 wickets in the 3rd Test and helped team India defeat England on day 2 itself.

Meanwhile, there’s a lot of interest regarding the pitch at Ahmedabad for the last Test. It is believed that the curators are trying to make a better wicket to bat on but the pitch will again have a lot for the spinners of both sides. Team India is expected to play with the combination of 3 spinners and 2 fast bowlers. The Test match between India and England will begin on March 4 in Ahmedabad.
