Ravi Shastri will be a happy coach after team India’s brilliant performance in the third Test at Ahmedabad against England. The hosts wrapped up the match in just 2 days and took a 2-1 lead in the series. The Test match finishing in 2 days surprised everyone but the meme-makers on Twitter had a good time.

The funniest meme perhaps on social media was related to the head coach of India Ravi Shastri. The Indian coach has always been trolled for his drinking habits and once again a meme related to it went viral. The new hilarious meme was posted by writer Shobha De on her Twitter account.

The meme had a photo of Ravi Shastri that left everyone in splits as it said, “you thought I’d stay in a dry state for 5 days?”.

Ravi Shastri saw the tweeted and took it sportingly which was appreciated by every Indian cricket fan on Twitter. Shastri who is known for his sense of humour was happy that his meme is bringing smiles to the faces of everyone during challenging times.

Meanwhile, coming back to the match a lot has been spoken about the Ahmedabad pitch as the Test match lasted just two days. Many believed that the surface wasn’t up to Test standards as it was turning square from ball one. England was bundled out for mere 81 runs in their second inning as India chased down the target easily and won the match by 10 wickets.

After the win, Virat Kohli admitted that the pitch was challenging but the batsmen of both sides could have shown more application. Rohit Sharma who was the standout batsman during the Test also claimed that the pitch wasn’t unplayable and it became easy once he was set. It will be interesting to see what kind of pitch is prepared for the final Test at Ahmedabad which begins on March 4.
