Kevin Pietersen Slammed By Team India Fans On Twitter After Posting Provoking Tweet

Kevin Pietersen posted a rather strange tweet after India thrashed England in the second Test match at Chennai. Virat Kohli and his men showed great character after losing the first Test and levelled the 4 match series 1-1. After India’s win, former England player Kevin Pietersen posted an annoying tweet that wasn’t received well by the Indian fans.

Pietersen has been closely following the Test series between the two giant sides and has often interacted with his fans on Twitter with his expert analysis. However, after India’s win, Pietersen tried showcasing his sense of humour which backfired as team India fans analysed him on Twitter.

The former cricketer took a dig at the team selection of England sarcastically congratulated India by calling the win against a B side. Pietersen was baffled with the playing XI of England as he wanted James Anderson, Jofra Archer and Jos Buttler all to play the second Test.

However, due to the workload, the England team management decided not to play their 3 key players which resulted in them losing the Test by a big margin. India won the Test match by a whopping margin of 337 runs and wrapped up the Test in the second session on day 4.

“Badhai ho india ,England B Ko harane ke liye”, tweeted Pietersen in Hindi on Twitter which caused a stir.

Meanwhile, some team India fans failed to understand his sarcasm and slammed him on Twitter. Several fans in the comments section made fun of the England side who opted to play without their important players in the second Test. Pietersen will be unfazed and look to continue his banter with the Indian fans on Twitter throughout the Test series.
