Despite the joyful occasion, some fans confronted unfortunate incidents. Those gathered at Marine Drive on Thursday, July 4, experienced problems because of bad preparations and management with of the Mumbai police. One fan, Ravi Solanki, mentioned his problems as the crowd density increased, and so did the chaos. He criticized the police for their inadequate crowd control.
The parade commenced at the National Centre of Performing Arts (NCPA) in Nariman Point and concluded at Wankhede Stadium. Streets had been affected by slippers and shoes, indicating the disorderly nature of the occasion. Another fan, Rishab Mahesh Yadav, mentioned fainting in the course of the march and being rushed to the clinic. Although he recovered, he expressed sadness with the police’s dealing with of the crowd.

From 3 pm onwards, fans began to congregate in South Mumbai, dancing and celebrating India’s T20 World Cup victory, which ended an 11-year wait for an ICC World Cup trophy. Adding to the anticipation, Team India had been behind schedule in Barbados because of Cyclone Beryl, heightening the exhilaration upon their arrival in Mumbai.
