The intense speed of Shaheen Afridi‘s delivery was captured by a helmet camera, and the video has gained immense popularity on social media. Shaheen Afridi, the Pakistani fast bowler, stands as one of the most potent in international cricket today.
His performance with the new ball, in all formats, is considered among the finest. Over the past year, he has been playing with a knee injury that caused him to miss several tours.
However, there are indications that Shaheen has now recuperated from this knee problem, which bodes well for Pakistan’s prospects in both the Asia Cup and the World Cup.

Shaheen Afridi is participating in The Hundred tournament for Welsh Fire this season
As Pakistan gears up to face Afghanistan in a three-match ODI series, Shaheen is reenergizing himself in the UK by participating for Welsh Fire in the current season of The Hundred. Up until now, he has secured six wickets across five matches. In his recent appearance, Shaheen couldn’t take any wickets but made up for it by restricting the runs while defending a modest target of 88 against Southern Brave.
Lately, a helmet cam captured Shaheen’s intense speed, and the video has since become a sensation on social media. In the match against Southern Brave, Shaheen delivered a short-pitched ball to Finn Allen, who skillfully executed a reverse scoop to counter the delivery. The ball sailed over the area of short third and reached the boundary.
Regarding the game, Welsh Fire managed a meagre score of 87 runs before being dismissed, with George Garton, a former RCB pacer, registering figures of 3/8. In response, the Brave achieved victory in 59 deliveries.
