Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) secured their third IPL title in a dominant display, thoroughly outplaying Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in the final. The three-time champions have asserted themselves as the premier team this season, finishing at the top of the league standings. They continued their form by winning Qualifier 1 against Hyderabad and sealing their victory in the final on May 26 at MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai.

“We played like invincibles throughout the season. There’s so much to cherish right now. It is pleasing, the performance has been flawless throughout. I am running out of words right now. We have been tremendous from game one, we stepped up today. All we demanded from ourselves was to back each other whatever the situation is,” Iyer remarked in the post-match presentation.
