5. Hrishikesh Kanitkar (8059)
The stylish left-handed batsmen Hrishikesh Kanitkar made his Ranji Trophy debut in 1994/95 season. He played for 3 teams including Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh and finally Rajasthan. He led Rajasthan side in 2010/11 edition and helped them to win their maiden title. Kanitkar also coached Goa stateside in the 2015/16 edition of the tournament. He played for India in 2 test matches, 34 One day Internationals. Kanitkar was also a part-time bowler.
He was the fifth leading run-getter in Ranji Trophy history scoring 8059 runs in 105 matches (155 innings) with the best score of 290. He has an average of 58.82 with 28 centuries and 35 half-centuries.
