Chaminda Vaas a good left-arm fast bowler for Sri Lanka made his international debut in 1994. He took 355 wickets in 111 matches, along with 400 wickets in 322 ODI matches. The left arm fast has the record of best ODI figures of 8/19.
In the inaugural edition in 2008, Chaminda Vaas was picked by Deccan Chargers. In that edition, the Sri Lankan fast bowler picked 13 wickets from 13 matches with an economy of 7.55 runs. The fans have forgotten him. He is not seen anywhere in IPL circuit since then.
