During the ongoing Royal Challengers Bangalore – Sunrisers Hyderabad encounter, we witnessed something unusual happen as Moeen Ali was dismissed run out off a free hit all thanks to Rashid Khan’s stellar throw from covers. It all happened when the Royal Challengers Bangalore were up against the Sunrisers Hyderabad in the eliminator where David Warner the Sunrisers Hyderabad skipper won the toss and put Virat Kohli’s to bat first at Abu Dhabi.
The Royal Challengers Bangalore made as many as four changes as they went in with four spinners in the side. Sunrisers Hyderabad on the other hand made just one change to the side as Wriddhiman Saha was out with an injury which is why Shreevats Goswami was brought into the side.
The RCB side was off to a shocking start as Captain Kohli was dismissed in the very 2nd over of the innings by Jason Holder which was followed by multiple setbacks as Devdutt Padikkal, Aaron Finch were dismissed soon.

Rashid Khan’s stellar direct hit to send Moeen Ali Packing
The biggest shocker came in when Shahbaz Nadeem was bowling to AB de Villiers when he conceded a single off a no-ball bringing New man Moeen Ali on strike. The very next delivery which was a free fit, Shahbaz Nadeem bowls a slightly quicker delivery to which Moeen slashes it straight to covers, during which Moeen Ali looks to steal off a single only to be a victim of Rashid Khan’s phenomenal direct hit.
Out and all it has to one of the worst things that could ever happen to a batsman as Moeen Ali was the first man in IPL history to get dismissed run out that too off a free hit on the first delivery he faced.
