Pakistan won the five-match ODI series against a “wounded” Zimbabwe. A comfortable 5-0 whitewash boosted the confidence in the camp not to forget their T20 triumph against Australia also. The openers played an integral part in the success of the camp. Probably, their worries about finding the best opening pair have sorted by now.
Meanwhile, their batsman Umar Akmal posted a video of his workout at a private gymnasium. Umar Akmal was seen practising kickboxing with his trainer and improving his stamina. Umar Akmal last represented the side in the year 2017 during the Australian tour. However, due to his “not so great” performances, he was kept out of the squad.
A month ago, Umar Akmal admitted that he was approached by bookies to leave a couple of deliveries in the 2015 World Cup. He was charged by PCB for his late allegations and results are awaited for the same. Seems like Akmal is really sweating it hard to make a comeback like his fellow mate Shoaib Malik.
However, Twitter really went wild for his latest video and fans treated it as a “troll material”.
This is not the first time he is getting trolled in the social media. Memes related to his current form and his celebrations with other players dominated the internet a while ago.
Here are a few crazy tweets on Umar Akmal”s video
