Asmavia Iqbal, the right arm medium fast women bowler from Pakistan has announced her retirement from all formats of the game.
Born on 9th January 1987 in Multan, Pakistan, she domestically played for Multan Womens, Asmavia played her first ODI game versus Srilanka in 2005 and made a T20 Internationals debut playing for Pakistan versus Ireland in May 2009.
She last played a women”s ODI in November 2016 versus New Zealand and her last T20 international came in December 2016 as well versus India.
It was a career that went on to achieve the presence in 92 women”s ODIs and 68 T20Is over 11 years. A period in which she got 114 wickets across these two formats, and contributed crucial 1,343 runs lower down the order. Unfortunately, she never played a test match in her career.

Asmavia announced her retirement to her fans as well on Twitter through a tweet, which her fans and followers from Pakistan really appreciated and replied their wishes for her post cricketing carrier life.

Bringing an end to a long 11 years career must have been emotionally tough for her. We all wish her luck.
