David Warner playing Ashes as his first test series right after the ban has really given a lot of content for the English fans.
One of the frustrated English fans termed him as a “cheat” when Warner was on the way to the ground during the third day of the Manchester test. An amused Warner replied “wooh” and gave a thumbs-up to him. Matthew Wade who was just following Warner was all smiles after an epic reply from Warner.
This isn”t the first time David Warner has been targeted by the English fans this series. In the initial phases of the series, the Barmy Army made a special song for the former leadership group(Smith and Warner). An animated Warner gave a fitting reply to them by showing his empty pockets.
The video has been trending on twitter for some time now.

Warner not up to the mark in Ashes
However, David Warner hasn”t been impressive as expected in the Ashes. Though he had a very good IPL and the World cup, constant failures are creating dull faces among his fans.
He scored only 79 runs in 7 innings at a shocking average of 11.29. Warner has been a prey to Stuart Broad in this series who dismissed him close to five times this series.
It will be interesting if he can change the fortunes for the side in the second innings.
