Ishant Sharma”s first stint with the county cricket is turning out to be a pretty memorable one. It is to be noted that Ishant Sharma has signed a deal with Sussex to play the county championship division 2. In his first match against Warwickshire, he picked five wickets in both the innings combined till now.
It is to be noted that Ishant hasn”t been sold in the IPL auctions. Though he had reduced his base price, he didn”t get any buyers and Ishant chose the county to spend his summer.
Ishan”s role in the county will play a vital role in India”s tour of England in the month of July. If picked, he will be able to put additional pressure on the batsmen with his unplayable deliveries.

Ishant had a memorable spell in England in 2014 where he rattled the batsmen with his seven-wicket haul at Lords.
The 29-year old bowler has bowled exceptionally well in both the innings. His figures include:

Though the match ended in a draw, Ishant Sharma”s performances were appreciated by experts and critics.
