Lanky India fast bowler Ishant Sharma is creating quite some headlines in the county circuit. It is noteworthy that tall pacer Ishant who is also the spearhead of Indian test bowling attack went unsold at the IPL 2018 auctions is now creating a buzz with his performance in England domestic cricket.
As documented earlier, playing for Sussex in the ongoing County Championship, a quickie from Delhi scalped five wickets in his first match against Warwickshire in Birmingham.

After a successful first game, Ishant surprised everyone in the next match as he went on to score his maiden half-century in first-class cricket against Leicester.
In a massive 9th wicket partnership with Burgess which is still going strong over 140 runs at the time of writing the piece, Ishant hit some glorious drives and one straight massive six

The 29-year-old fast bowler has played 81 Tests and 80 ODIs, was signed by Sussex for the first two months of the English county season and will be available for five games in the County Championship and all eight of Sussex’s group stage matches in the One-Day Cup.
