Kapil Dev and Mahendra Singh Dhoni united for a commercial shoot at the iconic Eden Garden’s Stadium, Kolkata. Both legend cricketers of India have won one World Cups each. Kapil Dev won the World Cup in 1983 at Lords beating the strong West Indies side.
Mahendra Singh Dhoni led India to famous World Cup win in 2011 after a gap of 28 years. Kapil Dev surprised MS Dhoni with a bouncer. Both cricketers batted and bowled according to the requirements of shooting. They were joined by kids after the shoot. Mahendra Singh Dhoni made the inspection of Eden Garden’s pitch that will host the first test match between India and Sri Lanka starting from 16th November.
MS Dhoni was seen hitting the helicopter shot during the commercial shoot. After that Sourav Ganguly and Mahendra Singh met each other.
India is the number 1 ranked test side in the world. They whitewashed Sri Lanka in every format in their own den. Kapil Dev took 434 wickets during his test career in 131 matches ( 227 innings). He was one of the best all-rounders that India has produced. Sourav Ganguly is currently President of Cricket Association of Bengal.
It was an amazing experience to see three Indian cricketing legends together. Mahendra Singh Dhoni led India to World T20 Cup title in 2007, World Cup in 2011 and also Champions Trophy 2013. He made team India number 1 ranked side in test matches.
Kapil Dev was one of best bowlers with the ability to make the life of batsmen tough. He took 5 wickets in an innings 23 times and 10 wickets in a match only twice. Dev also took 253 wickets in 225 matches ( 221 innings).
MS Dhoni led India from 2007 to 2016 in shorter version and 2008 to 2014 in test matches. The kids were lucky to see three great players together.
