Former Indian captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni had arranged a dinner party at his farmhouse before the 1st T20I at Ranchi on 6th October. Virat Kohli posted on his twitter account the photo with MS Dhoni’s daughter Ziva Dhoni. It was a great moment for the current Indian captain to spend time with the Ziva. The Indian captain is having fantastic time reaching the number 1 ranked side in One-day internationals after defeating Australia 4-1. Under Virat Kohli captaincy, India has won 8 consecutive series.
India won the first T20I at Ranchi by beating Australia in a rain-curtailed match by 9 wickets. Australia was invited to bat and posted 118 for 8 in 18.4 overs before arrived. Team India was given a target of 48 in 6 overs, winning the match by 9 wickets with 3 balls to spare.
It was a great reunite for Indian team at MS Dhoni’s residence before the match. Virat Kohli spent some time with Ziva Dhoni. Virat Kohli became the test captain of India in 2014 and has continued to lead in a special manner. The real test for India would be outside the subcontinent when they face the likes of South Africa, England, Australia and New Zealand in their own den.
India is currently leading 1-0 in the 3 matches T20I series with 2 more matches to be played at Guwahati on 10th October and Hyderabad on 13th October. Team India has been playing great cricket off late and would look to continue their brilliant form in upcoming matches against New Zealand and Sri Lanka.
