India looked good all Champions Trophy until the day of final. It was a big disappointment for Virat Kohli and his boys to come a long way in the tournament only to go down in the final.
Team India Captain Kohli wants the girls to get over the last hurdle in the Women”s World Cup starting from 24th June.
Virat Kohli left a heartfelt message to Indian Women”s team on Twitter via a video wishing them all the best for the upcoming world cup.
The video was posted by the official account of the Women”s World Cup. Virat Kohli said, “I would like to wish the Indian Women”s Cricket Team all the very best in the Cricket world Cup. I”m sure we will go long way in the tournament and there are some exciting players to watch out for.”
India”s best result in Women”s World Cup so far has been runners up in 2005 edition being defeated by Australia. In the last edition which was played in India, India didn”t qualify for semi-finals.
This time around Raj and her girls will be looking to make it count and go all the way to lift the elusive trophy.
