Indian skipper Virat Kohli has been trending in the social media for a week till now and the news feed is really inert without his presence in it. While the entire social media is excited about his wax statue at Madam Tussauds, here”s the latest news on him.
Virat became the only cricketer in the Forbes list of highest paid sportsmen across the world. American boxing champion Floyd Mayweather topped the list while the football legends Messi, Ronaldo and Neymar made it to the top five.
Kohli holds the 83rd position in the list. It is to be noted that maximum entries in the list were from the field of baseball, football and basketball. None of the women athletes featured in the top 100 list.

Kohli with his earnings of USD 24 million is the brand ambassador of Puma, Pepsi and other major brands. He also bagged the A+ contract with the BCCI earlier this year. Virat Kohli will not be a part of the one-off test against Afghanistan due to a neck injury. He is expected to undergo a fitness test on June 15.
