ICC has announced the latest T20 rankings after the recently concluded two-match series between India and West-Indies held in USA.
Openers Evin Lewis and KL Rahul, who scored magnificent centuries made giant leaps in the batting rankings. KL Rahul is now ranked 31st as he jumped a massive 67 places. Evin lewis also took a huge leap of 288 points and now finds himself on the 51st spot.
As far as Team rankings are concerned, West-Indies current world champions in the shortest format, fetched 3 points to narrow the gap between them and the Indian team to a single point. However, New Zealand still sit comfortably at the top of the table with 132 points in their bag.
Virat Kohli, inspite of scoring only 16 runs in the high-scoring game, retains the top spot of T20 batting rankings with 820 points to his credit. Currently, he is 17 points ahead of Aaron finch who is ranked second. Rohit sharma ranked 18th is the only other Indian player in the top 20.
Chris gayle, who was not a part of the playing XI in the T20 series suffers a one-spot loss as he now moves to number 9.
