Recently, Jaffer tweeted a picture of himself at Lords Cricket ground in London. The former Indian cricketer tweeted, “Sun is shining, the weather is sweet @HomeOfCricket.”Ā Michael Vaughan gave a sarcastic reply to this tweet which left fans in laughter.

Michael Vaughan asked Wasim Jaffer if he was present at Lord’s cricket ground for the 20th anniversary of his first Test wicket. Jaffer was quick to react to it and gave a cheeky reply by quoting the tweet. Jaffer said that he was there at Lord’s cricket ground for the 15th anniversary of India’s Test series win in England.

Jaffer in his tweet wrote, “Here for the 15th anniversary of this Michael #ENGvIND“. He posted a picture of the Indian team holding the trophy after the Test series win in England in 2007. The Indian team defeated England 1-0 in a Test series in 2007. Rahul Dravid was the captain of the Indian team in that series.

Indian team eyeing Test series win in EnglandĀ
The Indian team will play a Test match against England starting from 1st July. The Test match would be played in Birmingham. This last test match is part of the Test series between India and England which started last year in August. Due to COVID outbreak in the Indian camp, the match was postponed to July , 2022.
The Indian team is leading the series by 2-1. India would look to win the last Test match and win their first test series in England since 2007. Virat Kohli was the captain of the Indian team in the England tour last year. KL Rahul will miss the last test match against England due to injury.
