Wasim Jaffer Takes A Funny Dig At Michael Vaughan For His Tweets

Former Indian player Wasim Jaffer has stated that the former England captain Michael Vaughan “doesn’t waste any opportunity” to poke Indian fans with his tweets. Jaffer who is known for his witty tweets on social media was involved several times with Vaughan regarding many topics.

Meanwhile, during an interaction with InsideSports, Wasim Jaffer was asked about his banter with former England captain Vaughan on social media platforms. Jaffer shared by stating that the former England captain has got a ” habit of doing unnecessary poking” which he doesn’t like also. Jaffer also took a dig at England’s poor show in the ongoing Ashes Test recently and said everyone knows “how well England have performed”.

“He (Michael Vaughan) has a habit of doing unnecessary poking, which I don’t like. He doesn’t waste any opportunity to tweet something that might poke Indian fans even though we know how well England has performed,” he said.

However, Wasim Jaffer also mentioned that the banters between them is a “friendly banter” and nothing else.

“Indians don’t poke as much as he does. But it is a friendly banter between us as we have played against each other for quite a long time,” Jaffer once again said during an interaction with InsideSport

Wasim Jaffer also shared a video on his official Twitter handle with the caption: “This is the bit I enjoyed most while talking cricket with @Syaduvanshi1287 on @InsideSportIND and no prizes for guessing why.”

As far as Team India’s current state is concerned, they have been taking South Africa in a three-match Test series. While they started with a convincing win, the hosts bounced back in the second and levelled the series as well. The final Test will decide the winner of the series.
