[WATCH]- A Young Girl Emulates Jasprit Bumrah’s Bowling Style, Video Goes Viral

Jasprit Bumrah, the spearhead of India’s pace attack is known worldwide for his unorthodox bowling action that has perplexed batsmen. The internet was taken by storm with a video of a young girl imitating Bumrah’s pitch from a distance. In the clip, she is seen hitting the off-stump of a batsman.

The impersonation of an Indian bowler with a unique bowling action pleased many fans. In her school uniform, she imitated Bumrah’s bowling style, including the short run up and his trademark fast arm movement during practice sessions.

Bumrah has been a household name and a sensation in the world of cricket. Since his debut for the nation back in 2016, he has always pulled people’s eyes. Many people associated him with Lasith Malinga owing to the 30-year-old’s irregular style of bowling.

With deadly yorkers and a wide range of variations, he has been Team India’s top fast bowler leading the pace attack across formats. He has been an inspiration for many; some go as far as mimicking the pacer’s unique action.

An example of this surfaced on Saturday. The video is titled:

The fast bowler in Team India, Jasprit Bumrah, was last seen playing for the Men In Blue during their win at the 2024 T20 World Cup which took place in America and West Indies.

He took 15 wickets in 8 games becoming the third-highest wicket-taker in the tournament after Arshdeep Singh and Fazalhaq Farooqi from Afghanistan. Thus, he was designated the Player of the Tournament considering how he contributed to it.

However, since then this 30-year-old player has been out of touch because he rested himself on the Sri Lanka tour whereupon he does not belong to any of the Duleep Trophy squads as well as not going to the Bangladesh Test series starting from September 19.
