The Lucknow Super Giants got off to a brilliant start against the Rajasthan Royals in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 season. Avesh Khan sent Jos Buttler back to the hut cheaply, at the Brabourne Stadium.

Rajasthan Royals batters Yashasvi Jaiswal and Jos Buttler opened the innings. Jaiswal smacked a couple of boundaries off Mohsin Khan in the first over of the innings. Avesh Khan was brought in for the third over replacing Mohsin Kham. He dismissed Jos Buttler for just two runs off six balls.

The Lucknow Super Giants pacer bowled a length delivery, which was angling into the right-hander. Buttler shuffled across his crease to play the scoop shot. However, he failed to make any contact with the ball, as it went on to uproot his off-stump. The wicket pumped up Avesh Khan, who gave a fiery send-off to Jos Buttler.

Watch the dismissal here:

The Lucknow Super Giants will be pleased with the early breakthrough, as Jos Buttler has been in tremendous form in the Indian Premier League 2022 season. He is the leading run-getter in the tournament so far. In thirteen matches, Buttler has scored 627 runs at an average of 52.25 and a strike rate of 148.22. Rajasthan Royals make two changes, while Ravi Bishnoi makes comeback for Lucknow Super Giants
