Rajasthan Royals (RR) is having their finest run in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022, after years. RR, with an absolute team performance this year, is at the third position in the points table standing on the edge of the qualification for play-offs. Moreover, Sanju Samson led RR has won seven of their 11 encounters

After a couple of rough games, one of the RR’s retentions, Yashasvi Jaiswal performed an excellent knock and guided his side to the victory. Jaiswal had a poor start to his ride with RR this season with merely 25 runs in three matches. The 20-year-old was dropped from the playing XI later on.

Despite this, Jaiswal made a classy comeback scoring 68 runs off 41 deliveries and aided his side to win the tough contest against Punjab Kings (PBKS), on Saturday, May 7. Impressed by the 2020 Under-19 World Cup star’s efforts, RR skipper Sanju Samson decided to gift him a brand new bat.

In a video, posted by the RR’s official social media handles, Samson was seen promising Jaiswal a new bat, as a gift from his Chetta (brother in Malayalam). Samson also assured the left-hander that the bat will be in his room by the next morning.

Now, today, in the morning, RR posted a photograph of the RR skipper Samson and opener Jaiswal posing with the new bat. Samson also wrote a special message encouraging the young cricketer. The message read, “Lots of love to my brother, Jaiswal.”

RR to face Delhi Capitals on Wednesday in Navi Mumbai

Besides, Jaiswal being back on the track would be beneficial for the RR camp as Jos Buttler, the man in form, has scored just a fifty in the last 4 games. RR is set to face Rishabh Pant led Delhi Capitals (DC), tonight (May 11), at the DY Patil Stadium, Navi Mumbai.
