At the Arun Jaitley International Cricket Stadium (Delhi) in a game held on Saturday, the South Delhi Superstars’ player Ayush Badoni blasted 4 consecutive sixes against the Lucknow Super Giants’ (LSG) bowler.
The competition began on August 17th, featuring many top cricket stars from this city such as Rishabh Pant, Ishant Sharma, Lalit Yadav and Ayush Badoni himself among others.
During the inaugural match of this league, Badoni left everyone spellbound by his explosive ability to hit sixes. In an attempt to chase down 197 runs, he took on Ankit Bhadana in the 12th over when he smashed four back-to-back heavy shots off him making for one of his biggest moments during that game.

In the opening match of DPL 2024, South Delhi Superstarz won the toss and opted to bowl first. Riding on the back of Arpit Rana’s 41-ball-59 and contributions from Rishabh Pant (35), Lalit Yadav (34) and Vansh Bedi (47), Purani Delhi-6 posted an impressive total of 197-3 in their allotted 20 overs.
Priyansh Arya and Sarthak Ray, opening batsmen for South Delhi Superstarz, made a mockery of the chase as they added 87 runs for the first wicket. Ayush Badoni came in at number 3 and played fantastically, scoring 57 runs off just 29 balls.
The initial batsmen were sent back to the dressing room, but the middle-order was shaky and it was Vision Panchal who struck a six from the first delivery of the final over to lead his team to home.
