[WATCH]- “Badi Jaldi Aaya Practice Karne” – Virat Kohli And Shubman Gill Share A Fun Moment

The video of Virat Kohli having a casual conversation with Shubman Gill during the training session gained traction on social media on Friday. Kohli’s Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) are scheduled to face Gill’s Gujarat Titans (GT) on Saturday (May 4) at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium.

GT’s social media account on X shared a video of the two close friends sharing a few laughs in the dressing room. Here’s what Kohli said to Gill during their interaction:

“Badi jaldi aaya practice karne [You came early to practice today].”

Both batsmen have enjoyed a successful IPL 2024 season with the bat. Kohli holds the second position with 500 runs in 10 innings, boasting an impressive average of 71.43. Meanwhile, Gill has accumulated 320 runs in 10 appearances, averaging 35.56.

Heading into this match, RCB sits at the bottom of the points table with three wins in 10 games. They must win all their remaining matches to have a slim chance of qualifying for the playoffs.

Meanwhile, GT occupies the eighth position with four victories in 10 matches. The Titans also require victories in their remaining four games to secure a playoff berth.

RCB secured a convincing victory over GT in their previous encounter

Interestingly, both teams faced each other recently on Sunday (April 28) at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. The Gujarat Titans batted first and suffered early dismissals of Wriddhiman Saha (5) and captain Shubman Gill (16).

However, Sai Sudharsan (84) maintained his impressive form and partnered with Shahrukh Khan (58) to help GT achieve a formidable total of 200 runs.

In response, Virat Kohli and Faf du Plessis (24) provided a solid start for the visitors, adding 40 runs for the opening wicket in under four overs. Subsequently, Will Jacks amazed the cricket world with his remarkable century of 100* off 41 balls, including five fours and 10 sixes.

Kohli finished unbeaten on 70 off 44 deliveries as RCB comfortably chased down the target in just 16 overs to secure their third victory in IPL 2024.
