Team India pacer Jasprit Bumrah dismissed Travis Head once again in the Boxing Day Test at the MCG, reaching the 200-wicket milestone in Test cricket. After a duck in the first innings, the left-handed batter could only manage one run in the second innings before being caught by Nitish Kumar Reddy at mid-wicket in a soft dismissal.
Steve Smith’s exit off Mohammed Siraj gave India a chance to fight back, and Bumrah took full advantage. Coming around the wicket to the left-hander, the pacer bowled a length delivery. Head hopped to handle the bounce and attempted a flick to the on-side, but misjudged it, sending the ball high and to mid-wicket.

Head, celebrating his birthday on Day 5 of the Boxing Day Test, had another forgettable outing, departing for another failure. His participation in the match was uncertain due to a groin injury in the third Test, but he passed a late fitness test to stay in the playing XI.
In the first innings, he was bowled out for a duck by Bumrah with a delivery that struck the top of the off stump, leaving him stranded at the crease due to the angle.
Bumrah dismissed Marsh and Carey, putting Australia in trouble
The star pacer reached the 200-wicket milestone in just 44 Tests. He then dismissed Mitchell Marsh and Alex Carey in quick succession, leaving Australia struggling at 91-6 in the second session on Day 4, with their top order crumbling under pressure.
Bumrah had Marsh caught by Rishabh Pant in the same over he dismissed Head. In his next over, he bowled a brilliant delivery to remove Alex Carey. Australia now leads by 196 runs, with Marnus Labuschagne the only remaining frontline batter.
