In IPL 2022, the Mumbai Indians are in the midst of a horrible slump. The five-time IPL winners have lost all eight of their games so far and are still looking for their first win to get them off to a start in the points table.
To make matters worse, Md. Arshad Khan suffered an injury and was ruled out of the IPL for the remainder of the season. Kumar Kartikeya Singh, a left-arm spinner from Madhya Pradesh, was signed into the squad as his replacement after MI paid 20 lakh for him.
The dismal run of results hasn’t completely deflated the team. The players and coach continue to smile and have a good time while practising. Coach Mahela Jayawardene officially introduced Kartikeya to the rest of the team, in a video posted on MI’s Twitter account.
After Jayawardene’s speech, Suryakumar Yadav said “Chal Ek speech de de Chhota sa. Camera me dekh. Bata kaisa feel ho rha hai” (Give a speech, please.Tell us how you’re feeling by looking at the camera)
In response, Kartikeya said, “It feels very nice being part of the team. It feels a bit different. I was earlier there (among the net bowlers). Now I’m here.”. Everyone in the team burst out laughing.

"This is what it's all about, he did the hard work, has the talent and now he's here." 🙌

Mumbai Indians’ woes continue in IPL 2022
The Mumbai Indians’ IPL 2022 season has come to an end. And there are currently considerably more questions than answers. Did they make good decisions during the auction?
Did they shoot themselves in the foot by spending so much money on Jofra Archer, who wasn’t going to be fit this season? Why haven’t they demonstrated faith in Tim David after making such a high bid for him? Is there a way to get Ishan Kishan’s form back on track? Is his massive INR 15.25 crore auction price weighing on his mind?
