David Miller took a spectacular catch to dismiss Tilak Varma in the second T20I of the four-match series between India and South Africa at Gqeberha on Sunday, November 10. Miller, positioned at extra cover, leaped to his right and plucked the ball out of the air as Varma, who had scored 20 off 20 balls with one six and a boundary, was sent back.
The wicket fell in the eighth over of India’s innings, with South Africa’s captain Aiden Markram bowling a flighted delivery. Varma attempted to hit the ball over extra cover but Miller made an impressive leap, diving to catch the ball as he fell to the ground.

David Miller’s South Africa Take Control Against India in 2nd T20I
A dominant bowling performance saw South Africa take control in the second T20I on Sunday. Marco Jansen sent the in-form Sanju Samson packing for a three-ball duck, while Gerald Coetzee removed Abhishek Sharma for just four off five balls. Andile Simelane then trapped captain Suryakumar Yadav for four runs.
At the time of writing, the visitors were 67/4 after 11 overs, with Axar Patel and Hardik Pandya at the crease. India won the first T20I by 61 runs, thanks to a century from Sanju Samson, who scored 107 off 50 balls. Varun Chakaravarthy and Ravi Bishnoi each took three wickets.
Under Suryakumar Yadav’s leadership, India is yet to lose a T20I since he became the full-time captain. The Men in Blue defeated Sri Lanka and Bangladesh 3-0 in both home and away series. They will now aim for a third consecutive series win under Yadav’s captaincy.
India is also looking to secure their first T20I series win in South Africa since the 2-1 victory in the 2017/18 series. The two teams will face off again in the third T20I in Centurion on Wednesday, November 13.
