During the 2024 T20 World Cup match in Barbados, experienced Australian opener David Warner was spotted heading towards Oman’s dressing room following his dismissal. The left-handed batsman quickly realized his mistake upon looking back and promptly redirected himself towards the Australian dressing room.
In a video shared by the ICC’s official Instagram account, the 37-year-old can be observed ascending the stairs of Oman‘s dressing room. After glancing back and apparently receiving guidance towards the correct direction, Warner proceeded towards the appropriate dressing room.

The New South Wales cricketer, competing in his last international tournament, was bowled out for 56 runs off 51 balls in the 19th over by Kaleemullah and received a noticeable farewell.
After a challenging IPL season with the Delhi Capitals, the left-handed batsman has had a positive beginning. Jake Fraser-McGurk, a member of Australia’s reserves, took over from the veteran batter midway through the IPL season for the Capitals.
David Warner and Marcus Stoinis rescued Australia after three quick wickets
Meanwhile, Travis Head, Mitchell Marsh, and Glenn Maxwell were dismissed early, with Maxwell’s struggles persisting as he fell for a first-ball duck bowled by Mehran Khan, while Oman skipper Aqib Ilyas took a brilliant catch.
Stoinis, who had a solid IPL season, teamed up with Warner in the ninth over and stayed until the end as the 2021 T20 World champions reached 164 runs in 20 overs.
Their partnership totaled 102 runs, with Stoinis finishing unbeaten on 67 runs from 36 deliveries, including two boundaries and six sixes. At one point, he smashed four sixes in a single over.
Contributions from Stoinis, Mitchell Starc, and Nathan Ellis ensured Australia’s dominance, setting them up for a potential big victory. Oman, previously defeated by Namibia, appears headed for their second loss.
