The England cricket team defeated the New Zealand team by 5 wickets in the second Test at Trent Bridge in Nottingham. It was a hard-fought victory for the England team. They successfully chased down the mammoth target of 299 runs set by the NZ team.
Jonny Bairstow and Ben Stokes played a crucial role in this run chase of 299. Bairstow and Stokes played with a fearless approach in the run chase. The England team was struggling at 93 for 4 in the run chase. But the attacking approach of both these batters helped England chase the target.
England cricket team players were very delighted with this win. They celebrated the win in a grand style. The England side led by Ben Stokes partied at night in Nottingham in a Kebab shop. England players almost occupied the full restaurant at night and we’re looking in a good mood.
In the video, Joe Root can be seen leading the team’s order. While the rest of the squad was waiting for the meal to arrive. Ollie Pope can be seen receiving a large amount of meal. A Twitter user shared a video of it with the caption, “What better way to celebrate a famous Test win than with a big dirty takeaway?”

“Everyone put their hands up at different stages” – Ben Stokes praises his teammates for the series win
Ben Stokes led from the front in both the wins of the England team in this Test series. He smashed half-centuries in run chases in both the matches of the series. Ben Stokes in the post-match presentation said:
“Can’t take too much credit for that to be honest. Run into the danger, rather than back away and stand still.”
Stokes feels that New Zealand being one seamer down was a big advantage for the England team. Stokes further said, “That’s what we did there. Everyone put their hands up at different stages, everyone’s contributed to this win. (NZ) Being a seamer down was a huge advantage for us, and not allow them to settle.”
