The Finland cricket team set a bizarre field position against England in the European Cricket Championship that was played earlier today. England won the match by 14 runs as they successfully defended a target of 114. They restricted the opposition to 99 by setting unusual fields throughout the phase of play.
In a viral video circling across social media, the Finland opening bowler can be seen bowling to a field with eight slips and one leg slip to the batsmen. He bowled a good delivery to the opening batsmen from England who played and missed the delivery.

England skipper Dan Lincoln scored 56 off just 26 balls to help his team score 113/4 in the 10 overs. Down the order Andy Rishton scored 26 off just nine deliveries to take England to a par score which was defended in the end.
Finland Lost The Game By 14 Runs
Finland faltered in their chase, losing wickets at regular intervals. Matthew Jenkinson remained unbeaten on 39 in the chase but lost partners at the other end to stick around with him. They scored 99/6 and lost the game in the end by 14 runs.
Finland’s fieldset in the meantime became the talking point in the game. The teams playing in the European Cricket Championship are trying to make a mark in the game of cricket. This series might just turn out to be the platform that these players and the smaller countries were looking for.
