Glenn Maxwell, a renowned all-rounder for Australia, is currently unable to shake his wrist injury after playing for Victoria versus South Australia in a Sheffield Shield match. When Maxwell injured his wrist, he was positioned in the slip cordon and left the field on foot.
Following the T20 World Cup in 2022, Glenn Maxwell went to a birthday party when he horribly broke his leg. After a successful tenure in the Victorian Premier League, the all-rounder recently made his comeback to cricket. After being caught in front of the wicket for just five runs, he did not contribute significantly in the first innings.
Things, however, went from bad to worse when the Australian star was fielding in the slips and injured his wrist while trying to make a catch. The ball had taken the batter’s outside edge and landed directly in front of Maxwell, striking the Australian player flush on the wrist. The all-rounder limped from the field while clutching his sprained wrist and groaning in pain.
Glenn Maxwell has come off the field after what looks like a knock to the arm/wrist in his Sheffield Shield return from a broken leg. He can't catch a trick.

The Australian athlete was reportedly rushed to a nearby hospital for scans following his injuries, according to sources. The well-known cricketer breathed a great sigh of relief when a Cricket Victoria spokeswoman confirmed that scans had not detected any fracture. Given his recent injury issues, the 34-year-continued old’s involvement in the game is uncertain.
With his sights set on a comeback for the national team, the Victorian will be hoping that he can bounce back soon from his most recent setback. The Australian squad is currently playing India in a four-match Test series, but they will also play them in a three-match One-Day International series the following month. Maxwell is planning to make his long-awaited comeback to international cricket during the white-ball series against India.
