All-rounder Hardik Pandya made a memorable captaincy debut for India in the recently concluded T20I series against Ireland in Dublin (Malahide). They whitewashed the two-match T20I series, on Wednesday, June 28 after winning a thrilling second T20I. However, the Indian skipper did not have great luck with the reviews in the second T20I match.
India lost both their reviews, by the twelfth over in the second innings. Hardik Pandya was particularly frustrated with the second review and In the eleventh over, Harshal Payel bowled a slower delivery to Lorcan Tucker. The Ireland batter walked down his crease and got beaten on the inside edge. The ball brushed his front pad before getting to the wicket-keeper Ishan Kishan on the bounce.
The Indian players appealed for an lbw, meanwhile, Ishan Kishan missed a chance to run-out Tucker, who was well out of his crease. The Indian team decided to go for an lbw review, however, the impact was outside off stump. A frustrated, Indian skipper expressed his anger toward his teammates, Harshal Patel and Ishan Kishan.
