[WATCH]-“Icha Nahi Hoti Hai Woh Khaane Ki” – Bollywood Actor’s Remark On Virat Kohli Goes Viral

In a recent interview, veteran Bollywood actor Nana Patekar praised Virat Kohli, acknowledging the widespread admiration the former Indian cricket captain receives. Kohli has a massive fan base spanning from aspiring athletes to the general public, including celebrities.

With more than 270 million followers on Instagram, he stands as the most followed cricketer on social media. Nana Patekar also revealed that he refrains from eating whenever the star batsman has an off day at the crease. The 74-year-old actor shared this with TV9 Hindi News on YouTube:

“In the midst of the interview, we are used to watching the score. He [Virat Kohli] scored a century yesterday that is not in my mind today, you [he] were supposed to hit it [owing to his consistency]. What will you do today?”

“Virat is my favorite player. If he gets out early, you don’t know, I don’t like to eat [food]. I am that much interested in cricket. Our exams are same, their game [cricketers] ends in five days, ours [Bollywood actors] lasts up to 1.5-2 years, whose result public decides,” he added.

“Virat looks better than many actors” – Ranbir Kapoor praised Virat Kohli

Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor praised Virat Kohli in 2023, suggesting that he should make his own biopic. The 42-year-old shared this in an interview with Star Sports, as reported by Hindustan Times.

“If a biopic is made on Virat Kohli, then Kohli should play the role of Kohli in it because Virat looks better than many actors and his fitness is also very good.”

Kohli is currently playing in the 2024-25 Border-Gavaskar Trophy against Australia, but has struggled with scores of 7, 11, 3, 36, 5, and 17 after his century in Perth. Despite this, Ravi Shastri has backed the 36-year-old to play for another three to four years, as he stated to Star Sports (via NDTV):

“I think Virat will play for some time. Forget the way he got out, or whatever. I think he’ll play for another three or four years.”
