Imam, who was playing for the Lions, hit five fours and two sixes in his impressive 60 from 62 balls against the Panthers. His downfall occurred when he edged a delivery from Shadab Khan to Usman Khan behind the stumps.

Imam’s response after being fired was obviously disappointed. He became obviously furious and hurled his helmet and bat in disgust before sitting down. The incident happened on the opening ball of the 23rd over, when the Panthers captain, Shadab Khan, came into the attack and had an instant impact.
