Guyana Amazon Warriors captain Imran Tahir enhanced his signature “running” celebration by finishing it with Cristiano Ronaldo’s famous move. This memorable moment took place during the 27th match of the Caribbean Premier League against the Barbados Royals on Wednesday, September 25.
It happened on the first ball of the 11th over of Barbados’ innings when Tahir dismissed Rovman Powell with a perfectly executed wrong’un. The right-handed batsman misjudged the delivery, which struck his back leg before knocking over the stumps.
Tahir then celebrated by sprinting toward the crowd, culminating in Ronaldo’s iconic “siu” celebration.
