Ishan Kishan Explains How Smart Partnerships Guided India’s Chase

They explained how clear communication and a shared understanding of the pitch conditions allowed them to take complete control of the match. Reflecting on the initial challenges presented by the pitch, Ishan Kishan stated:

“I did not feel that the wicket was where you can just go and score runs. There was the odd bounce for a few deliveries, so we felt we needed partnerships.” He further emphasized their composed mindset after losing early wickets, adding, “You do not have to think about wickets, past is past and just see what bowlers you can target.”
