Star India pacer Jasprit Bumrah was recently seen at the airport with his family during India’s ongoing ODI series against Afghanistan, where the Men in Blue took a 1-0 lead with a seven-wicket win in the opening match. Bumrah arrived alongside his wife, sports presenter Sanjana Ganesan, and their son Angad.
The fast bowler politely asked the paparazzi not to click pictures of Sanjana and Angad while they walked through the airport. The photographers respected the request, and Sanjana thanked them for their understanding. Later, Bumrah posed for pictures with the paparazzi.
Dressed casually in a black oversized T-shirt, pants, shoes, and a cap, the 32-year-old was also seen jokingly asking the photographers whom they were waiting for. In a light-hearted moment, Bumrah also jokingly advised the paparazzi to eat breakfast and get some rest in the morning.
“Subeh Subeh aaram karo, naashta karo (Rest and have breakfast in the morning),” he said.

Jasprit Bumrah has been rested for the ODI series against Afghanistan and is not part of the current squad. However, the star pacer is expected to return next month for India’s white-ball tour of England.
Jasprit Bumrah Endured Difficult IPL 2026 Campaign
Considering his workload and demanding IPL 2026 campaign, Jasprit Bumrah being rested for the ODI series against Afghanistan came as no surprise. The star pacer endured a difficult IPL season, managing only four wickets in 13 matches, an unusual return for a bowler of his stature.
Bumrah finished the season with an average of 102.50, a strike rate of 73.5, and an economy rate of 8.36. Mumbai Indians also struggled throughout the tournament, ending ninth on the points table with only four wins in 14 matches. Statistically, it was one of Bumrah’s toughest IPL seasons in terms of wickets.
Although he picked up fewer wickets in 2013 and 2015, he had played only two and four matches respectively in those editions. Over the years, Bumrah has remained one of the league’s most consistent performers, setting exceptionally high standards for himself.
