The shot made people gasp as Bumrah proved he could be terrible on the field and lethal in front of the crease. Jasprit Bumrah on Day 4 of the third Test match in Brisbane took on Australian captain Pat Cummins and hit a big six. Across the border, the Indian fast bowler demonstrated an excellent piece of butterfly shot on the pull through Cummins, in the 68th over, long leg over a six.

Bumrah could afford a smile after this shot while Cummins looked quite disappointed. For the six, they managed to make a six, which was clear from Bumrah’s batting skills, and it also took India through, avoiding the follow-on. For the final wicket, Bumrah and Akash Deep did well and saw that India did not have to chase any target.

Finally, because of bad light, the play of the day had to be called off, but India was able to save it from follow-on. One that would go down as one of the highlights of the match was a six Bumrah hit off the bat of Cummins.
