[Watch] Jasprit Bumrah’s Reaction Goes Viral As Virat Kohli Drops Sitter Against Australia

Virat Kohli, India’s renowned player, had a forgettable day during the first Test against Australia at Perth Stadium. The talismanic batter’s problems with the bat continued, as he scored only 5 runs in the first inning. This was a tremendous disappointment for the Indian team, which was counting on Kohli to make a significant impact.

To make matters worse, Kohli made a big mistake on the field, losing an easy catch and giving Australian batter Marnus Labuschagne a lifeline. The lost catch was a sitter, and Kohli’s failure to hang onto it proved costly. The incident underscored Kohli’s on-field problems, which have recently been a source of concern for the Indian team.

Virat Kohli Drops Easy Catch Of Labuschagne:

It was during the third round of the Australian side, where Marnus Labuschagne came in to bat with Usman Khawaja. Jasprit Bumrah bowled the ball full and straight to milk a lead from Labuschagne, who was forward in defence. The ball, shaped away, caught him by surprise, and Labuschagne managed only a thick outside edge. Where was Kohli, to be precise? The ball flew straight to the slip cordon.

But then Kohli spilled a partner to Labuschagne, who got a new lease of life. Some duets, like Kohli, who initially took the catch, they spill it while celebrating the dismissal. Hence, he could not hold the ball, and he did not stake a claim for the catch either. It turns out that this proved to be a very expensive wicket for Australia, as Labuschagne came in to bat.

The nature of Wickets that Team India has faced at Perth Stadium has been a bowler’s haven, indeed. India were all out for 150 in the first inning, and the team has responded with a very good helping of bowlers. Bumrah has got three wickets to his name, Australia reaching the precipitous of 19/3 in the first innings.
